Red light and infrared therapy
Scientific research confirms that red light therapy (650-660 nm) can be an effective treatment for acne and pimples. This therapy reduces inflammation, promotes skin healing, and helps reduce acne and improve skin condition.
- In a study of 28 patients with mild to moderate acne, red light therapy was applied for 15 minutes twice a day for 8 weeks. Results showed a significant reduction in inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne on the treated side compared to the control side.
- A systematic review of 35 studies involving 1185 patients found that 92% of patients achieved partial reduction in acne lesions with visible light therapy. The average total lesion count decreased by 43% within 4 weeks of starting treatment.
Reduces inflammation
Red light inhibits inflammatory processes in the skin - reducing redness, swelling, and pain that often accompany active acne.
Promotes skin healing
The therapy accelerates cell regeneration and helps the skin recover faster from acne - reducing wounds, scars, and irritation.
Regulates sebum secretion
Regular use of red light therapy helps normalize the activity of the sebaceous glands, which reduces the risk of clogged pores and the appearance of new acne.

I've been struggling with acne since I was a teenager - I've tried everything: creams, antibiotics, even acid treatments. Red light therapy was the last chance I didn't really believe in. But after just a month, my skin became calmer, less red, and new pimples appeared less and less often.

My skin is very sensitive, so I couldn't use strong products. Light therapy surprised me - no irritation, no discomfort. What I liked most was that it could be done at home - calmly, at your own pace. Now it has become part of my routine. However, next time I would choose a lady.

I had severe rashes on my back, which made it very difficult to exercise and wear T-shirts in the summer. I started using light therapy with the recommendation of my doctor - the results were definitely better than I expected. My skin became clearer, with less inflammation.
You ask - we answer
Red light therapy still raises many questions – naturally, as it is an innovative, yet increasingly widely used method for promoting beauty and health. How often should therapy be used?
It is recommended to use 3-5 times a week, 10-20 minutes per session. Regularity is very important for visible results.
When can we expect the first results?
The first changes can often be seen after 3-4 weeks – redness, irritation and the appearance of new pimples are reduced. Greater changes are seen after 6-8 weeks of consistent use.
Is this therapy suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes. Red light therapy is non-invasive, causes no pain or side effects, and is therefore suitable even for sensitive, irritated, or damaged skin.
Does the therapy only help the facial skin?
No. The therapy can also be used on other areas where acne occurs – back, chest, neck. Simply choose the right size device to cover the required area.
Can light therapy be combined with other skin care products?
Yes, but it is recommended to avoid aggressive products (acids, strong retinoids) before or after the session. It is best to use soothing or moisturizing products.
